Best Birthday celebration!
WOW! Thank you all soo much..I've had the best birthday celebration in years...I'm still pondering who is the mastermind behind all the mooncakes! PRIME SUSPECTS: cheriepie, the jie mei who always comes up with surprises, its you right?! or the suspicious jack, who claims to have disgusting boxers in his bag? or the ever-so-lame xiao mei, ah lin? haha...okie, here is the brief recap of the whole day...After school ended, Fen, Lynn & i decided to go to the recommended . We saw it being recommended on TV..and were drooling to go there! hehe..Its a western food stall, that is situated in AMK Ave.5, Blk 608, Yue Hua food place. We ordered chilli dawg, Cajun Grilled Chicken, and a 3 beef patty botak burger! The servings were huge! We ate for a whole 2 hours, with our stomachs nearly bursting..haha..We should do this more often gals, discover new, good, and cheap food.. ^.^ Anyone interested? Then, i met cherie, hanlin and jacky @ the Esplanade..They surprised me with a penguin, and a mini water dispenser! Oh, by the way, it was Lantern Festival too! 8 yue 15..haha..Many people went to Esplanade to carry lanterns..We wanted to get a lantern too, but it was so expensive! $4, $5 for a paper lantern! In the market, we could get a dozen already..Then, they "tricked" me into going for a Riverside Boat Ride..I was truly surprised..so sweet & "romantic" hur..haha! On the boat, the next surprise came along..hahaha..this is real funny..they nearly set the boat on fire when they tried to light the candle on a mooncake! haha..and they sang me a birthday song on the boat..that is mooncake No. 1!
Next, we went along to Dhoby Ghaut, The Mind Cafe..I really felt like going there since my last time there was about 2 months ago..hehe..Jacob, Michelle, Collin and Meilian joined us soon
after..We played many funny games like Banana slap, Ugly dolls, Who's hand first, Telepath, and Jenga. All of it were so screamy..haha.All 8 of us had so much fun..In between, they presented me with 2 more mooncakes! 1 after another, and sang me a birthday song again! haha..The scene was hilarious..We played for approx 2 hours +, just before we left, i had to go to the toilet. Guess what, when i went back to the table, a 4th mooncake popped out!! haha..I was searching high and low, where were they hiding the mooncakes..haha..This time, i had to make a final wish, which i said out loud, "I wish that there will be nomore mooncakes!" And really, thank god..my wish came true! haha..Finally, we went to "JB" for Tao Hua supper, before we headed back home..haha..Okie, i must really really thank Each and every one of you who really made this outing so memorable and fun..4 mooncakes, 4 birthday songs, 4 times of candle blowing, Wow! i've turned 40! haha.. Take care guys! Those who helped me eat the mooncakes, thank you! And drink more water! 8 glassess a day! hehe.. *hugs* :)
