Whee! Atttended Liang Jing Ru's "Qing Qing" Live Mini Concert & Autograph Session @ The MAX Pavilion, Expo. Had a wonderful exxperience! hehe..But first, let me tell you how i nearly got killed today..
Jie and i board the bus 969 to Tampines, coz it was so packed, we were standing at the door next to the driver, then, halfway through the journey i noticed the driver closing his eyes! wah lao..so scary can..he was so so sleepy..kept closing, and opening his eyes..we could see that he was already trying his best to keep his eyes open..haha! And worst of all, it started to rain really heavily, and the visual is already not so good, plus the driver feeling so groggy! He must have just taken his lunch or something! A whole bus load of people's lives are in his hands! I was considering whether to complain lor..But we were so late for the Liang Jing Ru's mini concert that we had to run..
We finally reached the Expo at nearly 3.30pm, and the queue was all the way until halll 8! The MAX Pavilion is located beside hall 9, and beside hall 9 is hall 8..can imagine the no. of pple? Wonder what time the first person started queuing! haha..At about 4pm, we were allowed into the area. It was free seating so people were running for the best seats, so naturally, we ran too! haha.. The place was quite big, with 3 blocks of seats, and there was the stage, the lights..Quite nice..The organisers are so good to hold such a mini concert for her fans, free-of-charge! We just had to buy her album, and enter the contest! hehe..Its a really good place to hold an autograph session..As usual, they always start late..about 4.35pm, then Jing Ru came out..The host of the day was 933Fm's Ding Zhi Yong..(yucks..) haha! She wore a cute fluffy green top, with shorts and high brown boots..Looks very chic and pretty..hehe..She sang a total of about 5 new songs from her new album, and 2 of her famous songs, yong qi and ning xia..So nice to hear her sing live again..pitch perfect, and very soothing..After that, was her autograph session..We nearly didn't bring her album! Luckily i checked the details of the event the night before and saw it..But we only had 1 album, so i let jie go upstage this time, to even out coz that time Leehom's autograph session i went up twice! haha..
After seeing her off, i followed jie to Orchard to meet hui xian for dinner..Had actually planned to eat at Youth Park, but thhe stalls there..erm sad to say, didn't look really appetising..Plus the seats were wet from the rain, and because there was a live band performance there, the people there were only seating around to listen to them..( but they were horrible.. :P ) So we decided to walk back to Wisma's food republic..I tried the yummy fried beef kuay teow, and its superb!!! Never tasted this anywhere else..Next time when i go there, i will definitely go back to that stall..No point queuing up for half an hour for the hokkien mee anymore! haha..After that we went to Wheelock place's coffeebean for cakes, because hui xian was having a huge craving for them..Coffeebean has come up with a few Christmas delights, but we didn't try them..Looks nice though.. hehe..Christmas is coming, in exactly 1 month!! better start saving up for Christmas exchange!! hehe..
