Last day of holiday!
Arghhh!! Last day of freedom, slacking, sleeping in, gaming etc!! I'm going to miss them..

On Wednesday, Lynn, Minnie, Fen & i went to check out Miss Clarity Cafe, at Purvis Street.. haha..Lynn's recommendation for our last berries' day out before attachment starts..Started out really funny..Or maybe all of us were just so suay on that day..hehe..Fen woke up really late, just as i was about to leave my house, she msged me that she just woke up..haha..That's okay, coz Lynn & i have not left our houses..But poor minnie..haha! She was already out..So, i decided to be nice & meet up with minnie early..hehe..Went shopping for a while around Bugis Street, but to find most of the shops not open for business! haha..Then, we met Lynn outside National library, and we went to scout our way around. We got kind of confused by the roads, and we sort of went lost, and luckily for my sis, we managed to find our way, but we made a whole big round back to National library. haha! It is really very near the new national library..just need to cross one road lor..Well, we learn from our mistakes..next time i definitely know how to go! Either from Bugis or City Hall..haha..

And so, we reached the Cafe perspiring all over, faces flushed, and tired legs..haha! Quite an entrance..The Cafe is really nice and cheery, with shocking pink, yellow and green walls..And, the slogan reads, it’s a place where happy people meet! Sweet right? haha..The main courses were great too! Huifen ordered oxtail stew, and i would say its the best i've eaten! Everything is yummy, the gravy, the beef is soft and tender, even the carrots are so sweet!

Lynn ordered Chicken Ballotine, its chicken thigh stuffed with shitake mushrooms..Not bad..I shared half of it with her..Eating the whole thigh might get quite "jelat"? haha..

I ordered Garlic Crusted Dory, which looks really nice, and tasted nice on the 1st bite, but as you eat it gets very saltish..

Minyi ordered Pan-seared Dory fillet, quite similar to mine, and saltish too..haha! But the whitish cream gravy is nice! Forgot what was it already..but we called it the sour cream. haha..

Finally, we proceeded with dessert! Lynn recommended Warm Bread & Butter Pudding with a scoop of vanila ice-cream.

Sounds special right? haha..Not too bad, sweet, and i felt its a little soggy..haha! i heard of another dessert called Mud Ooze, soft choc cake filled with choc lava with vanilla ice-cream. Yummy! i must go back and try it for myself one day! hehe..




Oh, and the best thing about this cafe is that the prices are affordable, and there is no service charge or GST!

On Thursday, Suf & i went on a Movie Marathon! Sad, Diana couldn't come along with us as she had a workshop..Anyway, Suf found a VCD rental shop at Causeway Pt, that allows you to rent 5 VCDs at $10, for a week. New arrivals will be charged at 3 for $10 i think. Same for DVDs..But, wow 5 VCDs for $10, its like the best deal in town already..So, we borrowed 5 each, and we went to her house for the marathon! haha..Of course we didn't manage to watch all 10..We watched 5, which is already about 9 hours straight! haha..Really fun.. We should do this more often! haha.. I'm truly a movie freak! Catching so many movies at the cinema (almost 1 every week), watching HBO & StarMovies, and renting VCDs to watch, but we still have so many movies that we have not watched! Amazing isn't it? haha..There really is an endless list of movies that i want to watch..

On Friday, i continued my own movie marathon at home with sis, CZ and bro. haha..

Today, i went Suntec City to have dinner with Mummy, Papa & Bro..Finally bough Router! haha! But can't fix.. -.- And i watched OPEN SEASON! haha..its funny..Kind of reminded me of watching Shrek..Boog, the bear is like Shrek, and Eilliot is like the donkey, same iritating, motor-mouth friend..haha! Voiced by Ashton Kutcher. But the show is rather short, only about 1 hr and 15mins..So, watch it on a weekday, cheaper..hehe..
