Exciting Day.
It was an unexpected difficult intubation. We tried boogie, tried the Flexitip Laryngoscope, yet we were unable to intubate.

Then, Dr Chin asked me to get the Fast track. My heart was actually pounding very fast, but i tried my best to stay calm..I saw Nurse Yen along the corridor, so i asked her to come in and help me. I opened up and prepared everything as fast as possible.. (i even forgot to ask Dr chin what size of LMA and the ETT she wants. haha, i made my own decision. Luckily she said it was ok.)

Everything was completed in a matter of minutes. Everyone breathed a huge sigh of relieve when the ETT is finally successfully put in. My 1st experience of a Fast track intubation. It was so exciting, yet there was a great sense of fulfillment at the end of the intubation. Even Nurse Yen told me it was so long ago since she assisted with a fast track intubation, she nearly forgot the sequence. haha..For me, my only experience was during the difficult intubation talk that Nurse BP gave like 6 months ago. phew~

Thanks Dr Chin, Dr Joanna, and Nurse Yen. :)
