i've had an incredible weekend.
On Friday, i met up with diana to watch lust, caution (R21) version..It is so much more detailed nd nicer than the NC 16 version..They cut off so many crucial parts..For example, the part where they took turns stabbing the man, and the scene where lee hom twisted the man's head..The impact of the story is also much stronger and the story seems more complete, and i don't get the feeling like, "huh? next scene already ah?" Its great watching it again..hee..First time i watch it, i would only give 4 stars, but no, i would give 5 out of 5 stars! hee..

On Sat, I finally met up with dearie jeng jeng, my pri 1-4 classmate, & best friend..hehehe! woohoo, 11 years we have not met..But we still manage to keep in touch, thanks to christmas, new year and those childish letters we used to write..haha..still, thanks gal..I had a wonderful time, from slurping up black squid ink pasta to the crazy shopping..But we forgot to take photos! Next time ok? =)

Yesterday met up with diana & nysha for lunch at bishan..Nysh is flying back to aussie tonight..Have a safe flight back, nysh! & please keep in touch when you're back there..hee..

Diana and i decided to go to east coast after nysh went home..So we went to AMK and took bus 76 all the way down marine parade..Then, we bought a kite and made our way to ECP. It was crowded as usual, on a sunday, though the sky looks threatening..We flew our kite along the beach, the wind was rather unusual as it comes as fast as it goes..So, our kite was flying for a while, before the wind stopped, and it came back down..This went on for about half a hour or so..Then, came the sudden gust of wind where diana was running and flying it at the same time..The kite took off..This time, very high up in the sky..I couldn't release it fast enough, and the spool hit poor diana's head..haha! We thought it had reached a safe enough height for the kite so we continued releasing the string, getting rope burn at the same time..Then all of a sudden, the kite came crashing down..We tried to save it by pulling back the string, but we were not fast enough, and our poor kite went crashing into the sea! hahaha..We ended up "fishing" our kite up, only to realise that the wooden stick to support the structure of the kite is gone..So there goes our half an hour of kite flying cheap thrill..haha..

Next, we went on to try roller blading, which we are both not so good at..Considering i only had 1 blading experience, which was with lystra during sec sch, which i really flew up in mid-air and land on my coccyx (tailbone). Hurt like hell..haha! The uncle at the blading/cycling rental shop was so AP and so grumpy..Rent from him also sian..But its cheap la. $7 an hour, rent an hour free an hour. Includes socks and protective gear too..

For the first hour, we were both blading like ducks..haha..Feel so unsteady, and going so slowly we were holding up the traffic..Then, slowly picked up the momentum..Feels like ice skating, but on a much rougher and uneven surface..haha..But overall, the fun factor is still there..Though we were physically exhausted..hehe..Planning to get my own skates soon with diana, so we can go practise! hee.. :)

I'm going to bathe now..Had a long day today..
