sian sian sian...
For 2 consecutive days, there was a problem with the 1st patient.

We (the nurses) have to start work early, get the theatre prepared, bring in the patient at 08:15am sharp.
Then, when we call the S, he said he can't come in because he is doing ward rounds/ in another hospital seeing another patient. Don't know why they must still list the op so early. Then he claims that he is not informed, or the clerk did not confirm with him his schedule..

So, in the end..We always have to push the patient back up to the ward, while he anxiously fasts for another couple of hours..
sigh, we can't put all the blame on the S, but also the loop-holes of the system..

Have to sleep ealry..S wants to start the case early, so i have to reach even earlier..i just hope that he will not be late and make me come early in vain..Ciaos!
