Music man concert was a blast!!!
Lee Hom started off with the new song, "what's wrong with me?", and trust me, it was good! His live version of the song was way way better than the one recorded for the CD. Once the music started, everyone was so high, cheers and screams and screeching whistles filled the whole stadium..He performed songs which he didn't perform live before, including my favourite "ai cuo", "can you feel my world" and "an quan gan"!
This time, lee hom was also more entertaining, and interactive with the audience..HE looks soo good with his 8 pacs body build, every girl was practically drooling...I think it was only half an hour into the concert only, but he came down stage when he was singing "forever love". Of course, people all swarmed forward, trying very hard to get a handshake and catch a glimpse of music man up close. (Of course your crazy friend, ME, ran up too! AHHH!!! haha..) Later into the show, He danced an individual dance solo too! haha..He is always not very strong with his dance moves, yet he was brave enough to do it solo. Although it wasn't very good, it was really cute, and he ended off with a handstand too!
Remember the "change me band" which consisted of 4 lee homs? 1 was the drummer, 1 guitarist, 1 bass, and 1 singer? This time, he brought them all on stage, which is impossible unless there are 4 lee homs. So, he got a few look-a-likes to dress up exactly like him, but all 4 of them were wearing hats, and sunglasses which really got the audience confused as to which one is the real lee hom. haha. really funny.
Lee Hom also included a disappearing act during the concert, where he reappeared right at the back of the stadium to everyone's astonishment! haha..HE even commented to the people sitting up there, "You guys didn't expect that you have the best seats tonight right?" haha..And indeed, they are lucky enough to shake hands with him as he walked down to the center stage..But the whole stadium was going hysterical, people were running forward towards him, i was also standing along the aisle with my sis waiting as he slowly made his way down..And this time i managed to grab another handshake! hehe...But, i was being dragged along together with the crowd even after lee hom walked quite far away, i was unable to get out, and i felt myself being pushed further and further up, the security guards were humongous like bouncers, and i knew i was kind of squashing the poor gal in front of me as well..but i couldn't do anything..I screamed for help, yet nobody could hear me. Both of us were dragged a few meters, before i felt a hand pulling me out. It belonged to my sister. I was so glad i managed to get out of the mess without being trampled dead. For the first time in my life, i got into a "riot", and i really felt like it was gonna be a stampede!
Of course, the music man also played the violin for "when you wish upon a star", played the piano for melodies like the classic "wei yi", "ni bu zai", and sung "kiss goodbye" as the finale song. The finale left many fans hoping for more, and i was already partially deaf by that time..Thankfully i didn't really lose my voice..The big glass of sugarcane from chomp chomp helped! hehe..
